Mountain of Doom! By Hannah, age 9

Swiftly, I create the shivering upon your spine.

I am will create the ghostly curse that will haunt you forever,

The crumbling avalanche will catch you.

I will destroy the ones who trespass.

If you trespass you’ll be sorry.

I am the dark menace who will curse you and get armies of snow, ice and wind.

I will make you jump off my edges.

Pitch black, frightened, scared who will survive my curse.

No one knows.

Are you brave enough to climb me?

When you stand on me my anger rises and the curse gets stronger.

If you dare climb up me, you’ll wish you didn’t!

The Chill Upon Your Spine! By Phoebe age 9

I am the chill upon your spine,

The one who will take down the pitch- black clouds.

I am your dream crusher.

I will crush them from underneath your feet.

I will summon armies of wind, rain and snow.

Monstrous, murky, hideous – who will live?

Scared, shocked people sky for their lives!

I am as colossal as The Great Wall Of China.

When people climb me will they survive or will they die?

I am your greatest fear!

Where your nightmares some true! By Leah age 9

Domineering, arctic – who will sneakily pass my amazing, spacious grounds?
I am the mountain where your nightmares come true.
The one who sneakily steals your broken-hearted souls.
I am the repulsive frightening conundrum.

I will quietly make icicles hop from my dim, dingy unpleasant caves
Caves that are as unpleasant as your grandma’s toes!
You won’t dare to cross my line!
Speedily I shake my shoulders and make the terrified, startled skiers jump out of their soft, smooth skin.

I am the dreadful mammoth, a haunted ghost.
Dim, murky, repulsive – who will track down my bumpy unbreakable spine?

WILL YOU DARE CLIMB ME?
