A Viking Village 

A great fly through video to help children visualise what a Viking village may have looked like. 

This short video may lead to writing with children focusing on descriptive language.  

Lesson Ideas

• Describe the village using senses
• Create a commentary for the fly through
• Choose a building and decide who lives there.  Describe that character in detail. 
• Create a map of the village and add still images from the film to illustrate
