The Girl With the yellow bag

In the film we meet the little girl from 'The Silent Books' once again.  This time she has a magic bag in which she places objects and wonders appear.

We have often linked this with a recycling topic showing how rubbish can become beautiful objects.

You may want to introduce prediction by pausing and asking children what they think will come out of the bag.
Teachers may have an actual bag in which they can place objects so children can imagine them changing into something else.
Use language to demonstrate the difference between the mundane (before it goes into the bag) and the fantastical (that which comes out of the bag.)
